SSAS Pension Administrator / IFA Administrator – Leicestershire

to c£25,000 + benefits

My client is a national organisation, and is looking to appoint a SSAS Pension administrator / IFA Administrator for their Leicestershire based offices.

 

You will be responsible for the day to day servicing administration of a portfolio of SSAS Pension Schemes

 

You will provide the meeting packs for the consultant to take to client meetings which will include an agenda, valuation and associated documents.  You will also keep the  in house record keeping systems up to date.


At times you will be involved in projects,  e.g updating the Definitive Trust Deeds or submitting the Annual returns Via the HMRC Website.


You will provide a point of contact for clients in respect of their day to day administration requirements.


A basic Technical knowledge is required within the role. You should have an understanding of the structure of the Trust and the basic benefit, funding and investment rules, although a  high level of technical ability is not required at this stage. 
 
Main duties and responsibilities
 
To provide proactive support to Financial Management Consultants in providing customer service excellence for clients on financial planning matters.
Developing a relationship with the client that promotes this role as a central contact point, keeping the consultant informed of any relevant issues.
Conducting research and obtaining quotations and relevant documentation/information as instructed by the consultant.
Producing basic outline suitability reports, as instructed by the consultant, using the standard templates on the portal and then passing to the adviser for final completion.
Accurately complete and maintain our client record system - Swift - with details of all activity on client files
Provide ongoing service to existing clients
Contribute to the continued development of the administration support service offering, including reviewing and maintaining the portal contents and suggesting ideas for best practice
Ad hoc basic administration duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, answering the phone and other duties as assigned by line management.
Fully competent in all aspects of the Support Administrator role and able to assist in those duties when needed.

Knowledge of back office systems (SWIFT/Outlook/Excel etc)
Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to use initiative & be self motivated
Ability to work effectively as part of team including providing support and guidance to other team members
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Fully FPC qualified with industry experience
