Business Development Manager / Sales Director

Leicester (our ref AL1061)

Salary £40,000 to £60,000 pa + benefits

 

My client is a leading Wealth Management Company who provide a bespoke, holistic Wealth Management service to private clients and businesses to assist them to meet their long term financial objectives. They are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record to focus on business expansion as well as the development of staff to maximise their potential.

 

The Role

·        To be responsible for seeking out possible firm acquisitions and assisting with practice growth

·        Be responsible for recruiting and onboarding new Financial Planners as well as upskilling existing Financial Planners

·        You will conduct regular performance reviews with Financial Planners and address any Development needs as well as providing ongoing support

·        Actively assist in developing Professional Connections

·        Actively assist in meeting and setting targets for the Financial Planners as well as the company as a whole

·        Arrange business meetings with prospective professional connections

·        Ensure that organisation structures and processes are both adapted to business needs and are effective

 

Knowledge & Experience required

·        Commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and an influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels

·        Strong communication skills

·        Good knowledge and experience of the advice process and regulatory requirements

·        An overarching view of the internal processes and working practices

·        Excellent personal organisation

·        Team player

·        Leadership experience

·        Energetic, highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success

·        Ability to deliver to tight deadlines

·        Ability to understand, identify and resolve issues in an effective manner which involve the team of advisers overseen and developed by the Business Development Manager

·        Strong work ethic

·        Strong eye for detail with the ability to refine improve operations on an ongoing basis

·        Diploma level 4 qualified is preferred

·        Competent Supervisor status is preferred
