My client provides Independent Financial
Advice to private clients and companies across the East Midlands and they now
have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager to join
their team. They are looking for a
bright, bubbly individual with a can-do attitude and the ability to hit the
ground running. Experience in team
leading at a senior level is required, along with a thorough understanding of
the Wealth Management industry.
Typically, the role will include the following areas
of responsibility:
⢠Review, oversee and manage the
daily operations and activities of the support team
⢠Work with the Directors to
support and ensure the company objectives and business plans are implemented
⢠Plan, oversee and facilitate
communication across the business
⢠Responsible for Human Resources including
recruitment, with guidance from a third-party HR company
⢠Responsible for implementing,
reporting, and reviewing new projects
⢠Responsible for collating
Management Information
⢠Provide support and take the
lead within all compliance aspects
⢠Initiate and participate in
operational, compliance and administrative support meetings, and ensure actions
are completed
⢠Introduce, update, and maintain
regulatory and procedural standards
Compliance
⢠To work closely with the
Compliance Officer, who is also the Managing Director
⢠Initiate and oversee compliance
projects to fruition, along monitoring effectiveness
⢠Ensure processes &
procedures are aligned to meet the FCA, plus company requirements
⢠Investigate & rectify any
errors and implement any remedial action to ensure no recurrence
⢠Deal with complaints
⢠Liaise with the nominated third-party
Compliance company and Compliance Officer regarding all aspects of compliance
and legislation changes
Supervision & Management
⢠Lead, develop, coach, and
motivate the support team to deliver a consistently high quality of service to
agreed service standards
⢠Monitor the support team
workflow for efficiency, to optimise resources and ensure our services are
provided in a timely manner to our clients
⢠Responsible for creating and
overseeing the training & induction of new support members
⢠Carry out reviews of individual
performance
Skills and qualifications required
⢠Pro-active and organised being capable of dealing with several tasks in parallel and able to work on
your own initiative, seeking out solutions
⢠Numerate and analytical, with
attention to detail
⢠Excellent standard of written
& verbal communication
⢠Ability to empathise and build
strong business relationships with our clients, the team, and strategic
partners
⢠To be dependable, honest, and
discreet with a responsible manner
⢠Good working knowledge of Microsoft
Office and various aspects of IT
⢠Knowledge of XPLAN Software
would be an advantage
