Salary £16,000 – £23,000 dep on exp + benefits

Contract position 6 to 12 months with the potential of permanent at the end

 

As a brand-new role in this established Wealth Management practice, this exciting position will focus on Appointment Making for the Financial Planners to maximise both individual and company potential.

 

Appointment Maker – responsibilities of the role:

  • Reporting directly to the Support Team Manager, the role will be pivotal in ensuring all client review meetings are booked for existing clients in a timely manner
  • Book appointments into the Financial Planners diary
  • You will also work with the Financial Planners in maintaining contact with their prospects to engender future relationships and book appointments as necessary.
  • The role holder will also be asked to follow up with attendees to marketing events with an aim of maintaining contact and booking in appointments for Financial Planners as necessary
  • Additionally, you would attempt to make contact with the client base in order to fulfil the Companys obligations and also create renewed prospect opportunities
  • Become involved in ISA/other Campaigns as necessary to maximise client engagement and business efficiency

 

The person we are looking for:

  • Positive and professional approach with all clients/prospects. This must include adherence to Financial Services regulations.
  • Confident when speaking with people for the first time, regardless of their background.
  • You must display excellent telephone communication skills and enjoy this type of work which will inevitably include a number of rejections.
  • A self-starter and able to work with little or no supervision, who displays a sales orientated working style and is extremely resilient.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Outlook Calendars
  • Excellent listening skills and able to identify potential opportunities for Financial Planners during your conversations with clients/prospects.
  • Ability to engage positively with colleagues at all levels within the Practice
  • Good organisational skills
  • Team Player
